CITIZENM HOTELS: BLOGGER SLUMBER PARTY
To launch citizenM Hotel’s new Times Square location – their first U.S. property – we handed over their brand new, never-slept-in hotel to NYC’s best bloggers and let them have their way with it for the night. No other guests – just bloggers, booze and a freshly decorated space.
120 of New York’s most beloved bloggers, editors, and social media stars came out to the event, from niche influencers like Jerome Jarre, Troprouge and Flashes of Style, all the way to writers from top-tier publications like Buzzfeed, Time Out NY, VICE, GQ, Mashable, MTV and Pitchfork.
While guests were not required to post to attend, we filled the night with surprises that were too good to resist. This included Time Square-style portraits by well-known New York street artists, personalized 'appraisals' by The Bumbys, an intimate living room set by indie pop artist Alex Winston, and a bed time story by identical twin comedians The Lucas Brothers. We also dedicated one of the rooms into a 'Confessional', where guests could climb into bed and share their craziest New York stories.
