LACMA: THROUGH THE MIC SERIES
In collaboration with artist Murs and The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), we introduced a new concert series focused on emerging and experimental hip hop in Los Angeles.
Together, we leveraged our intimate connection with the city of LA, its diverse communities, and artistic offspring to discover what's happening in hip hop at the moment, paying particular attention–and giving an amazing platform–to the best local, emerging artists.
Once a month, Murs would curate a night of live music in the outdoor pavilion in front of the street lamp sculpture. Guests would also be invited to late night, private access to the art galleries and to the museum's bar and restaurant.
