SNOOP LION X VICE: REINCARNATED LAUNCH
Snoop Lion joined forces with the world’s hottest producer Diplo to create a one-of-a-kind pop-reggae album in the heart of Jamaica called Reincarnated. Snoop also teamed up with VICE to document the entire recording process and transform the footage into a startling feature length documentary of the same name.
In celebration of the full Reincarnated project, including the official premiere of the Reincarnated film at the 2013 SXSW Music Conference, we produced a highly publicized music event called LIONFEST at VICE’s 10-Day SXSW residency VICELAND, which featured performances by Snoop, Major Lazer and Mavado as well as the first live performance of the Reincarnated material.
Immediately following, we kicked off influencer screenings in six major cities around the US. Each event was hosted by a local celebrity and attracted a strong mix of influencers from the music and entertainment industry.
